Is there a utility that can convert a power point presentation to a video format such as avi or mp4?

Save your PP slides in picture formats (click save as and choose other formats, and change the format type to GIF, JPEG, TIFF, or PNG.) Then use the Windows Movie Maker to make a movie clip and save it as whichever format you want.
