If he is worth any of your time or attention than he should be willing to date anyone of any race or ethnicity. You sound very mature, but don't look into this too much. Worry about talking to him and making him smile. If you start to show that race may be an issue than he might get intimidated too. We live in the 21st century, this shouldn't be an issue:)
