If a team gets a 4 minute PP, but 1 minute in takes a 2 minute minor, will they get credited for having 2 PPs?

No, because the double minor is still counted as one power-play. In this particular case, the powerplay was 'interrupted'...........I've seen this happen numerous times on a 5 minute power-play..........the stats always give credit for just one power-play
