In all honesty, it seems to me that your fiance is forgetting to consider the thoughts and opinions of the person that should be the most important person in his life, ie. YOU. In my opinion, you should discuss why he's not taking your thoughts, feelings, and ideas into consideration. The facts that he has cheated on you previously, has been engaged to you for an inordinate amount of time, and that he won't take your thoughts into account should all be red flags at this point. Not only does it seem that he's only considering what HE wants, but it seems like he's not really excited about making a commitment that could hamper his plans. I would say that if you can get a wedding date set and if you can come to some kind of agreements TOGETHER about your future plans TOGETHER, then things should be fine. If not, I'd seriously consider discontinuing the relationship.
