I need to loose weight for cheer!?
I'm assuming that because you're a tumbler the weight you gained was muscle, which is a good thing. You really shouldn't try to drop a lot of weight at once because your body will feel weak and you won't be able to hold your own in stunts. You might be a little tall for a flyer depending on the team you're on, but if you have experience you're height will be over looked. I would suggest just working on being tight and flexible. For stretches I'd suggest working on your left, right and middle splits. You might want to stretch your back for scorpions too. One thing that I do that helps is putting your foot on the edge of a table and pulling yourself up on that leg to pull a stretch, scorp, bow and arrow, ect. Overall, don't lose the weight ! Just gain more muscle.
